The Wharncliffe Hosts Charity Coffee Morning for Macmillan

On Friday the 27th September, The Wharncliffe Restaurant hosted their annual coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

From 10am to 12pm, guests were treated to a selection of homemade cakes, pastries, and freshly brewed coffee, all prepared by the talented students and staff of Rotherham College’s catering and hospitality department.

There was also a chance to win some fantastic prizes on the tombola including self care hampers, tasty treats and vouchers.

Not only was this an opportunity to indulge, but it also provided a meaningful way to contribute to the life-saving work of Macmillan Cancer Support. Every penny raised went directly to the charity, helping to provide essential services and support for individuals and families dealing with cancer.

A whopping total of £680 was raised throughout the morning.

The morning was a great success, filled with delicious treats, community spirit, and generous donations.
