Rotherham College Celebrates Nursing Bursary Winner
Rotherham College is thrilled to announce that Samantha Osborne, a dedicated student from our Health Sciences program, has been awarded the prestigious Rotherham Sitwell Rotary Club Bursary for Nursing.
This award, presented annually, provides vital support to one standout student from each of Rotherham College and Thomas Rotherham College, helping them pursue their dream of a career in nursing.
Samantha’s journey with us has been inspiring. Over the past two years, she has shown remarkable commitment, first completing her Level 2 Diploma alongside studies in Maths and English, then advancing to the Level 3 Access to HE: Health Science Professions program. Her hard work and determination have now earned her a place in the Adult Nursing program at Sheffield Hallam University.
Recognised by her tutors for her resilience and achievements, Samantha received a nomination that led to this well-deserved bursary. This support will help her cover travel costs to university and placements, enabling her to focus fully on her education and clinical experience.
We are incredibly proud of Samantha and confident she will make a meaningful impact in the field of nursing. Her success is a testament to the opportunities and encouragement provided by Rotherham College, and we look forward to watching her continue to excel.
