Rotherham College short listed for a Worldskills EDI Award
Rotherham College is again successful in the Worldskills arena as it is shortlisted for an award called Skills Competitions Advocate in this year’s Worldskills EDI awards.
The 2024 EDI Heroes Awards honour individuals and organisations championing innovative practices and initiatives, positively impacting students, workplaces, and the wider skills system.
Worldskills – an independent charity working to use international best practice to raise standards in apprenticeships and technical education so more young people and employers succeed – are passionate about championing the need for inclusive opportunities that give all young people the chance to succeed in work and life.
Rotherham College is proud to have been shortlisted for the Skills Competitions Advocate category.
For the first time ever, Worldskills will be hosting the award ceremony in person at the iconic Houses of Parliament, London, on March 7, 2024.
We are very excited to be attending this event along with all the other amazing finalists and seeing the outcome.
