Rotherham College Gets Behind National Apprenticeship Week 2019
Rotherham College is proud to be supporting the 12th annual National Apprenticeship Week (NAW 2019).
Demonstrating the benefits of apprenticeships to employers, individuals, local communities and the wider economy, the ‘Blaze a Trail’ themed week will be running from 4th to 8th March 2019. This week will see Rotherham College recognising the value and opportunities which high quality apprenticeships can deliver across a variety of different sectors.
Apprentices will be awarded for outstanding work in the health, business, construction and manufacturing sectors at their places of work.
A pop-up event discussing the value apprenticeships can bring will be held on Rotherham College campus in the Wentworth building reception on Wednesday 6th March between 11.30am – 2.00pm.
In addition to this, we will be hosting pop-up events at Dearne Valley College canteen on Tuesday 5th March 11.30am – 2.00pm and at North Notts College in the Canteen on Thursday 7th March between 11.30am-2.00pm.
Student and staff’s apprenticeship success stories will be shared both on Rotherham College social media and website throughout the week.
The theme for the 12th annual National Apprenticeship Week is: “Blaze a Trail”. With over 3.8 million apprenticeships started between 2010/11 and 2017/18, Rotherham College encourages students to explore all routes through further education.
