Music Performance students invite primary school children to their interactive music workshop

Monkwood Academy Primary School children were invited to take part in a musical workshop with Rotherham College Music Performance students, aimed to encourage an interest in music from an early age.

Monkwood Academy students brought their own home-made instruments and learned to sing “Another Brick in The Wall” by Pink Floyd, as well as getting involved in various activities, including learning about different instruments and how they work in a band.

They then sang with Music Performance students and a live band, as well learning how to play along with their own instruments.
