Money Matters – College Students Learn How To Spend Wisely
The best things in life are free, just like the My BnK workshop that helps you buy all the things that are not free and still save some money. There is no better time to learn money management than in your college years, that’s why our colleges arrange regular workshops to support students in learning about money matters.
My BnK is a UK charity that delivers expert-led financial education programmes for 5-25 year olds with schools and youth organisations. A series of such workshops was held at Rotherham College and Dearne Valley College on 30th and 31st January, where Sarah Kirby from My BnK enlightened the students with some clever money saving tips and engaged them with activities to learn how to manage their finances and savings.
The learners thoroughly enjoyed the scenarios in which their decisions impacted their financial outcome and gained knowledge about making wise choices.
