Rotherham College launches free Art, Design and Media Saturday Club for 13–16-year-olds
Rotherham College is delighted to announce that the Art, Design and Media National Saturday Club will be coming to our College from the 7th January.
Attending the National Saturday Club gives school students aged 13-16 a fantastic opportunity to discover new subjects whilst familiarising themselves with a college atmosphere.
Our College tutors will be running free Saturday classes in Art, Design and Media, with many more subject areas to follow in the future. These classes aim to provide members with an array of transferable skills that are sought after by employers in the creative industries.
The National Saturday Club also gives young students the unique opportunity to learn new skills, discover talents, meet new people, and find out more about further education, higher education and rewarding careers.
Dave Smith, Campus Manager at Rotherham College said: “We are delighted to finally launch the Saturday Club at Rotherham College. This club will give young people the perfect opportunity to discover new subjects and develop new passions, whilst also familiarising themselves with our fantastic on-campus facilities.
The Saturday Club will act as a perfect stepping stone to ease 13-16-year-olds into Further Education.”
The Art, Design and Media Saturday Club will be open to young people of all abilities at Rotherham College’s town centre campus.
