Preparing to leave school next year but not sure about your options? Studying A-Levels but feel it’s not quite the right path for you? Want to give your career a boost by gaining a new qualification? Rotherham College is here to help you aim high and achieve your career aspirations.
Rotherham College offers vocational courses that provide you with hands-on skills and experience through projects, industry-standard equipment and briefs set by real employers. From media to science, our courses and Apprenticeships provide you with a solid foundation on which to build your future.
As well as a wide range of courses, Rotherham College also offers many Apprenticeships, which give you on-the-job training and qualifications, whilst earning a wage. Apprenticeships can be a route into employment or university, and we offer a wide selection; from engineering to performing arts.
The government has recently shown its support in inspiring young people to Get In and Go Far, the recent government campaign to encourage Apprenticeships as a great post 16+ option showcases the benefits of Apprenticeships, using real Apprenticeship stories.
Apprenticeships offer young people the opportunity to gain a qualification whilst earning a wage, and are a chance to build the experience that is asked for in many job interviews.
Our state of the art training hair and beauty salon, Inspire, and training restaurant The Wharncliffe are excellent facilities which are open to the public, giving students real-life experience of working in the industry.
As the structure of Apprenticeships in England is changing, Rotherham College will be on hand to guide you through the reforms with the trusted expertise and experience that we apply to every aspect of College life.
At Rotherham College, we work hard to give everyone the opportunity to reach their potential and ambitions, so we also offer you the option to improve your GCSE English, maths and science grades whilst studying for your new qualification.
