This course is ideal for you if you hope to pursue a career within the health care sector. You will learn about a range of topics including health, safety and environmental regulations within the industry, good scientific and clinical practice and providing person-centred care.
The T Level is split into two components:
Core Component: (mandatory): This provides knowledge and understanding; underpinning key concepts, theories and principles relevant to the T Level and the subject sector.
Occupational Specialism: This provides the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to achieve competence in ‘Supporting the Adult Nursing Team’. You will complete one Occupational Specialism, this will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to enter employment or further study in the specific occupational area.
You will also take part in an industry placement of at least 45 days as well as improve on your Maths, English and digital skills.
Studying the Health T Level will enable you to develop core skills such as communication, team working, reflective evaluation, researching and presenting.

Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including GCSE English, Maths, and Science at grade 5 or above.
OR
Extended Diploma at Merit grade in a related subject with GCSE English and Maths at grade 4.
