This course is designed to provide you with the broad knowledge and understanding to work in the joinery occupations with a focus on bench joinery.
You will have the chance to gain valuable work experience with local employers, gain your CSCS card and work on live projects as part of your course.
The Level 2 course allows you to learn, develop and practise the skills required to work in Bench Joinery.
You will:
- Learn from industry-experienced tutors with a wealth of experience in all construction trades
- Great links to local employers
- Participate in industry competitions eg. Skill Build, World Skills and inter-college competitions
- Attend site visits with local employers.
- Access to industry-standard workshops, tools and equipment
- No formal entry requirements
- You will undertake initial diagnostic tests and an interview with a tutor before starting this course

You will require Personal Protective Equipment including work trousers and safety shoes or boots.
