Blog: It’s Not Too Late to Study With Us

Okay – so it’s September and a lot of people you know are starting their studies for the new academic year. Maybe you didn’t want to join them because you were unsure what you wanted to do. Maybe you thought it wasn’t the right time for you. Whatever your reason – if you’re still happy with it then we’re happy too. But if you’ve now decided you do want to study and worry that you’ve missed the boat then we want to let you know that it’s not too late to study with us!

Let’s have a look at how to study with us, if you either know what you want to study or are still unsure:

I know what I want to study

That’s great! Applying online with us takes a few simple steps. All you need to do is visit our Apply Now page and submit your application there. We’ll then send you an acknowledgement email within five days, giving you access to the online Admissions Manager where you can track the progress of your application. After that, you’ll be invited to attend an interview with a course tutor to discuss your choices and ensure they’re right for you, along with exploring any additional learning support needs. Then it’s on to enrolment! You’ll receive an email with details on how to enrol and be issued a College timetable for the start of your learning journey with us!

I don’t know what I want to study

It’s perfectly fine to need help deciding – this is a big decision, and we’re here to help you get the qualifications you need for the career you want. It’s that simple. Our most important aim is to ensure you unlock your potential and open the door to a future you want.

What excites you?

First things first. What do you enjoy? Think about what you can talk to friends and family about for ages without skipping a beat (sometimes until they beg you to stop!). That’s a good indicator of what gives you energy – it’s something you’re passionate about. Use this information and think if it is something that a qualification can be gained in – odds are it fits into a course you’ve maybe not thought of before, but makes obvious sense when you connect the dots of a course title to your passions!

Where does it lead?

Let’s say you can’t pair your passion to a course title. That’s okay – we can always help!. But you can instead pair your passion to a job instead. Simple search what you can do in the world of work with what excites you. Then have a look at those jobs; what do they require? You’ll see courses listed there – they’re the qualifications you’ll be wanting to go for. Not only will they open the door to your best future, but you’ll likely love learning on them. Best of both worlds.
