Health and Social Care’s Clifton Ward and adjoining teaching rooms provide the perfect place for you to kick start your career as a nurse, social worker, support worker or health care professional.

Our goal is for you to explore the different opportunities and employment pathways available in the world of Health and Social Care.

Our courses will challenge you to develop your patient care skills and field knowledge in order to progress to higher level courses or employment within Health and Social Care e.g. care work, working with disabled people, health care practitioners.

Equipment

The Clifton ward is equipped with industry standard apparatus such as:

• Hospital beds
• Wheelchairs and walkers
• Sphygmomanometers (measures blood pressure) and weighing scales, all in order to simulate a real-life clinical working environment.

All equipment and classrooms are checked to Health and safety regulations.
